SUPPORTING & ASSISTING
For me, real estate is about supporting and assisting people to realize their hopes and dreams; I see the home as being a vital foundation for an individual and/or a family. A home can provide its owner with so much; it’s a place for growth, resting, playing and loving. And it can also provide a solid capital return for its owners when sold.
It first became clear that I had inherited the real estate gene, when at the age of four years, I advised my parents to buy an inner-city property in North Adelaide. Not surprisingly, I’ve spent all the years since advising my parents and other family members on real estate opportunities and investment appropriate to their needs.
I, on the other hand, didn’t actually start buying, selling, investing and renovating until I was In my early 20’s; and have now been involved in real estate opportunities for many years in both Queensland and interstate.
As a private individual I have been evolved in the sale of property worth several millions of dollars; as a registered salesperson I have achieved considerably much more than that in sales – and growing.
Some would say that my joining the real estate industry was long overdue. And they’d be absolutely right.
BACKGROUND
As a real estate agent consultant I believe I have a huge responsibility; I have an opportunity to assist and support people to find their right space and environment.
Prior to working in real estate, I worked as Electorate and Media Officer, and Animal Welfare Adviser and Researcher to Senator Andrew Bartlett, Leader of the Australian Democrats and Senator of Queensland. During my years as an adviser and researcher, I was able to contribute to many aspects of the senator’s political life, including the senator’s successful securement of the fifth senatorial position in the 2001 federal election by way of international and national media. Another achievement which I am proud of was researching and preparing a private member’s Bill: National Animal Bill (2003), which was introduced into the Senate in August 2004. at the time I held the unique position of being the sole animal welfare researcher and adviser in Australian politics.
Previous roles in the public relations industry included PR Coordinator for the Cerebral Palsy League of Queensland, Business Development Coordinator at La Boite Theatre, Communications and Marketing Consultant, Marketing Manager of Adelaide Symphony Orchestra, Community Relations Coordinator for the City of Marion (SA), Special Project Coordinator for the Royal Society for the Blind (SA), Promotions and Publicity Manager for the South Australian Heath Commission and many others.
But the most fulfilling work experience I’ve ever had involved a group of clients with cerebral palsy who I trained and supported in public speaking techniques for group situations using visual and technical supports, such a computers and overhead projectors. All of the clients involved had speech impairments or no vocal capacity at all; none of these people has ever been able to physically express their thoughts and feelings to groups of people. Previously their communication exchange had always been limited to one-on-one experiences.
I was very grateful to have had the opportunity to assist and support these people in having such an experience; it was an amazing time for everyone but particularly for me.
Clients appreciate my caring, commitment, insightfulness and professionalism; and acknowledge that I’m prepared to go the extra kilometre to achieve a win-win for all parties.
TESTIMONIALS
“Our daughter, Brenda, has been fascinated by real estate all her life, Her observations and advise regarding properties have always astounded us; she has never been wrong. My wife and I have benefited as a consequence. Naturally, we’ve always said she should be sharing her knowledge and experience with others, but Brenda has until recently always focused on working in the community service area.
Brenda is a person who only wants to work with the most fair, honest, conscientious and professional of people.
Of course, not ever real estate agency operates to Brenda’s standards; however, after years of working in other industries and after a lot of research, Brenda identified Professionals New Farm as being her agency of choice. She even researched and commenced training with a Jenman Approved real estate agency because of her commitment to ethics, but she withdrew once she felt it wasn’t reflective of her personal beliefs and values.
Brenda is a person who is committed to giving and doing her best for everyone she comes into contact with – my wife and I are very proud of our daughter. And very conscious of the difference she has made to our financial circumstances.”

“We’ve known Brenda for nearly ten years, during that time she has assisted and supported us in the purchase of two properties, including intervening on our behalf when a developer refused to refund our $20,000 deposit, while we were on an extensive overseas trip. Her intervention meant that we were able to progress the purchase of our current home; but more importantly she was instrumental in us buying in the New Farm area, which has seen us realizing exceptional capital growth over the past 6 years.
Thank you Brenda – a job well done!

“Brenda would have to be one of the most caring, professionals, and honest people I’ve ever had the good fortune to work with. I would feel completely comfortable with her managing the listing and sale of my property and that of my friends and family.
I believe Brenda’s move to Real Estate to be an excellent one; she is a great organiser, a people-person and has a real understanding of her community and the people within it. without a doubt Brenda has all the necessary ingredients to be an exceptional real estate consultant – I wish her well in her new career:
